Pinnacle View Lodge is a charming, self-catering double storey Dutch Barn style country home that sleeps up to 11 people. It's in a peaceful and picturesque high country alpine region, only minutes from the gateway to Mount Buller for your wonderful ski trips in Winter, or mountain biking and hiking in Summer. It has an abundance of wildlife such as kangaroos, deer and parrots in this beautiful area.

LOCATION:
The house is located next to a quiet bushland setting and a small creek, with views of the surrounding mountains, at the end of a quiet road with no through traffic. Just under 25 minutes from Mansfield, only moments away from the Mirimbah Store for great coffee, croissants, and hearty breakfasts, as well as the new restaurant BOMA for great seasonal food. It's a 10-minute drive to the Hunt Club Hotel for great pub meals and the Motor Inn for great pizzas, grocery items, and a bottle shop.
Great for families, couples or groups with excellent local attractions for fantastic ski trips in the winter, as well as horse riding, mountain biking, hiking, and trout fishing in the summer.

During the snow season (and possibly other times) we can offer a free 30 min yoga/stretching session or professional nutrition or ski/snowboard tip session per stay, or for an additional fee one comfort food hot meal freshly cooked ($25pp) or cooked and served ($30pp) per stay. Please write to the host to book these in advance as they may not always be available.
We have free parking and a concrete driveway. There is room for one or two cars on the property. Other cars can park for free on the quiet street. There are 16 steps up to the front door.
Cleaning is done to Covid-19 cleaning standards.
15% nightly accommodation fee discount for 7-night bookings. 10% off for 5 nights.
30% discount for monthly bookings. 20% discount for 2 weeks.
Summer rates: $390/weeknights, min 3 nights usually. $590/weekend nights, min 2 nights usually. Winter has more peak season rates which vary according to holidays, events and weekends.
The cleaning fee is $150/stay. (More if left dirty). Please leave the house clean and as you found it.
The standard nightly fee applies for 6 guests. Additional guests are $40 pp. Please let the host know the bed configuration required at the time of booking for appropriate beds with linen to be set up. Thank you

- Mt Stirling for cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing or sightseeing.
- Mt Buller for skiing, snowboarding, snow-shoeing, sightseeing or tobogganing. Ask your host for private ski/snowboard lesson recommendations or tips.
- Many people love these things and some weeks and weekends of the snow season have high season rates and book out quickly. This is especially true in Covid Times with lowered capacity limits permitted on to Mt Buller. It's recommended to book lift tickets, Buller car permits & lessons as much in advance as possible, as entry numbers are limited and will sell out at times, especially with Covid restricted numbers. Some days will sell out.
- During Winter you can catch MMBL or Snowgum Express transport to and from Mansfield/Mt Buller if you don't want to drive.

- Summer is the hidden treasure, with swimming at the Delatite River swimming holes, boat sports at Goughs Bay & Lake Eildon, fishing, bushwalking/hiking, horse riding, wineries, pubs, 4WDing, etc.
- Mountain Biking/road cycling and trail bike riding at your doorstep.
- Refreshing dips in the Delatite River, only a 5 minute walk away.
- Mansfield and local wineries are close by, eg Delatite Winery Wine Cellar Door (wine and music), Kinloch Winery Cellar Door tasting & restaurant, both 30 mins drive.

Summer bookings are for a 4 bedroom house. Winter bookings are for a 3 bedroom house, with a one bedroom lock-off (with separate lockable entrance) booked separately. Please enquire about availability for the lovk-off if you are interested.
PLEASE NOTE:
We prefer non-smoking premises for the comfort of our guests; if smoking occurs in the house, the bond will be forfeited.
As it is self-contained accommodation, our guests are asked to leave the premises in the same condition in which they found it and dispose of trash in the large plastic bins outside.
The BBQ is to be left in the same clean condition it was found, or a $75 cleaning fee will incur.
If the house is damaged or excessively dirty and requires more than standard Covid cleaning, or a party is held, or Wifi is used for streaming (eg movies) or VPN, a portion or all of your deposit will be retained.
Note: The Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. A fee of $75 per person per night will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance. External surveillance cameras will be used to record arrivals and departures for use in the determination of additional guests above the agreed number.

This is a quiet neighbourhood. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 pm and 7 am. A party will mean your deposit will be forfeited.
Laundry use is only for guests who stay for longer periods, and only on request.

Wifi internet is satellite or there is tower internet, but being a country location, it may be intermittent at times all around Merrijig. District outages may occur in country areas. Internet signal varies in strength in the house too. Both Optus and Telstra mobile phone signals operate in most parts of the property, including in the lounge room.

Please help us to conserve water, heat and power. Please keep widows closed in Winter.
Please turn off lights and other electrical appliances when leaving the house each day.
This is a beautiful and quiet area, in the bush, by a creek. Other guests, owner, manager, possums and birds may use the same external stairs, and may reside on the property (eg in a lock-off and/or separate apartment). All apartments are secure and have their own private entrances.
Even though we may reside in a separate apartment(s) on the property, we do not interfere with your privacy.
Check-in is 4pm, check-out 10am.
