Mokonui Cottage - Farmstay Rere Gisborne

The cottage is located on a working station so you may see us from time to time on bikes and working with livestock. We will be present on the property during your stay. However, the cottage has its own private house grounds for you to enjoy and we aim to respect your privacy.

**Please note that during your stay you are more than welcome to enjoy the house grounds, however walking on the farm is not permitted. We have some amazing local attractions which provide great walks and sightseeing.

Enjoy what Rere has to offer, by staying in the cottage you will be able to check out the popular attractions without having to cram them all in, in one day and head back to Gisborne or Opotiki for the night.

- Rere Falls - 5kms
- Eastwoodhill (National Arboretum of NZ) - 17kms
- Gisborne - 50kms

We are also located on the popular cycling trail called the "Rere Falls Trail" and also on the "Kopiko Aoetora" route, so feel free to bring your bike and explore the Rere Falls trail.

- The cottage comes with a basic pantry due to our rural country location. Pantry items includes: Fresh ground coffee beans, black and herbal teas, milk, salt, pepper & olive oil. Please pop into a shop (Gisborne or Opotiki) for your supplies before coming.

-No TV, but we don't think you will miss it :)
