Te Kohanga Cottage is a great spot for families, friend groups and individuals of all ages to enjoy. The retro cottage is warm and cosy with clean and refreshed decor, a lounge, dining room, three comfortable bedrooms and an efficient fire to make your stay pleasant. There is a tidy outdoor area with plenty of opportunity to get fresh air and experience our peaceful rural lifestyle. Te Kohanga is a working Sheep and Beef Station and is the prime location to observe some of our rural activities.

This is a beautiful waterfall out in the country, it is just 2kms from the cottage. There is a great spot to swim and an area to picnic.
Slide Down The Rere Rockslide
This is a very popular 60m long natural rockslide just 4kms from the cottage. People have an amazing time sliding down the rockslide on boards and tire tubes and enjoy having a nice picnic at the picnic area provided.
