ADDITIONAL NOTE ***
It has been a wild few years, and we really appreciate it's been hard on everyone! We and the entire hospitality industry have been hammered with bad weather on top of the pandemic. Cancellations have heavily impacted our business and the likelihood of survival.
It looks as though things aren't going to change anytime soon, especially regarding the impacts of the natural disaster.
For this reason, we have implemented strict cancellation policies and now stick by them regardless of the circumstances.
But there is a solution. More than ever, we suggest that all guests get DOMESTIC TRAVEL INSURANCE for any domestic travel.
It is reasonably affordable and covers you for all kinds of situations, including illness, flight cancellations and weather.
We strongly suggest YOU OBTAIN TRAVEL INSURANCE with any booking you make with us.
Our cancellation policy is as follows.
50% refund up to 1 week before.

Loved this little escape - the cabin was beautifully done and was such a little retreat for us over 4 days. Great location too, being only 10/15 mins away from town hubs - but away from the hustle and bustle when you want.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Bath was very cozy in the stormy weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get tranquil in nature.

Picnic By The Campfire
At the cabin, we had a picnic on the balcony with stunning views of the valley followed by a campfire. We were able to chop our own wood and use it for both the indoor and outdoor fire pit. Funnily, we were greeted with the goats on arrival but they didn't stick around once it got smokey!

The Pocket Road Scenic Drive
A scenic drive down The Pocket Road leads past Alpaca farms and grazing cows - a country escape just 10 minutes from the beach.
Lunch At Mooball Roadhouse
This quaint spot was perfect for fueling up the bikes and grabbing a bite to eat and enjoy the outdoor seating and views. There's a museum filled with roadhouse memorabilia, worth the visit!
Surfing At New Brighton
Perfect surf conditions saw us up at dawn to welcome the new day from the water at New Brighton. A salty start always sets us up for a great day, and the coastal surf in this area are world-renowned.
Morning Swims At Wooyung
Wooyung beach known only by the locals it a beautiful stretch of beach with little to nobody on it. If your looking to avoid the crowds and have a secluded swim this place is for you (note: there's no swimming flags or lifeguards here)

Brunswick River
Explore the clear waters of the Brunswick River, which feeds Cape Byron. Launch your kayak in the Brunswick Heads Township before venturing into the surrounding wetlands, abundant with native wildlife. Paddle all the way to neighbouring town Mullumbimby, stopping along the way to have a fish, swims or relax on a sandy bank.
The Farm Food And Wine
We stopped at the farm as we were making our way into Byron. Little did we know, this place not only offered an incredible lunch menu but also a scenic view of the farm animals and gardens surrounding it. Definitely worthwhile stopping here as the food, wine and views are amazing.
