Perfectly Passive and Private was an absolute dream stay.
The tiny house itself is incredibly well thought out, spacious and contains all the luxuries you might need from an accommodation (yep, coffe...e machine included). It's also 'passive' which makes it a super cosy and bug-free which is important as you're right on the river.
The location is hard to beat, sitting meters from the Hawkesbury River - the ultimate adults playground! Play around on the provided kayaks and SUPs or just sit there and watch the world go by.
The hosts are also incredibly friendly and helpful - thanks so much Lauren and Sim! If you get a chance, ask them about their TV fame...
Highly, highly recommend.

Hello from the Hawkesbury! We are lucky enough to live in this beautiful piece of the world and we are so happy to be able to share it with you. Simon and I design and build Bespoke passive tiny houses and sustainable spaces. It is our great joy to be able to share with you our own design and have you experience passive housing and everything we love about the Hawkesbury. It is my upmost priority to ensure your stay is as perfect, wonderful and unique as you are!

Picnic Pitstop
Let's be honest, exploring can be tiring so take a load off, find a space on the rocks to sit and take in all the beauty of the Hawkesbury River. We accompanied our pitstop with wine and a beautiful grazing box from the amazing Melissa at The Little Olive Grazing Co, who is local to the region. It's hard to find a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Country Roads Take Me Home
Wander out your front gate onto the winding country road for a breath taking stroll. It makes for a scenic bike ride too
Hawkesbury Town Hop
I am an absolute sucker for regional towns and Hawkesbury has some of the best. The region is so rich in heritage so take your time and explore the history of this stunning part of NSW. We explored Windsor, Richmond and Ebenezer (there's a pub in a church!) but follow your own historic heart.
The Ebenezer Church
The Ebenezer Church was established in NSW in 1809 and is Australia's oldest church. Despite the age, the church is in fantastic condition and is still used by the local community. The grounds of the church are stunning and are a permanent home to a number of infamous locals. If all the history hunting makes you hungry, there is an on-site tea room that serves gorgeous homemade scones which the inner Brit in me loved.
The Convicts Trail
This area of Hawkesbury is steeped in history, none more so than the Convicts Trail at Wisemans Ferry. The Convicts Trail was built by, believe it or not, convicts who were sent to build Australia's infrastructure in the 1800s. The trail takes you on a journey of their experience, including Hangman's Rock which has a rather sinister story attached.
