Living on a farming property so close to the coast really does offer the best of both worlds. Looking out to paddocks and surrounding hills provides distance and relaxation while listening to the native fauna and watching grazing animals pass. Hinterland rivers, falls and swimming holes in the surrounding region are nearby to explore and then the coastal environment and beaches offers all manner of beach and water activities.

The Bangalow Bails property is enveloped by lush paddocks, waves of green hills and quintessential country views. So naturally, we went out to explore them. We left our phones inside and took our time to stop and soak in the surroundings; the smell of fresh grass, the sound of seclusion, and that sense of ease that comes only from being in nature. We met a few friendly cows along the way and were joined for the wander by a four-legged tour guide – the host's adventurous pup.
