Where can I go and what can I do with my pet?

Port Campbell and the surrounding areas are full of nature, open spaces and wonderful places to explore. You and your dog are welcome at many of these places but not all.

As Port Campbell and much of the surrounding coastline is National Park and home to many incredible native animals, dogs are strictly prohibited in some areas. You can leave your pet in your vehicle in the car parks at many of the main attractions such as the 12 Apostles making sure they are happy and safe.

We have put together an itinerary of pet friendly adventures you may wish to experience during your stay with us. You can view this on our website daysyhillcottages.com.au.

Please adhere to all signage along your adventures as things can change. If you are planning to dine out with your pet we advise contacting the operator directly, making a reservation and confirming your pet is welcome too as this can change seasonally.

The Sow Piglets Brewery

Port Campbell's Sow & Piglets (so named after the original title of the 12 Apostles) micro brewery. Enjoy a craft beer and pizza.

Port Campbell

Port Campbell is a small coastal town that attracts beachgoers from far and wide, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Take a walk around town, fish from the jetty, swim at the beach, walk out to the point, surf the break or enjoy a meal at one of the great eateries. You can't help but slow down and relax in our lovely village.

Views Along The Road To Port Campbell

We stopped at Gibson Street, and then various locations along the road to Port Campbell that were less populated (not sign posted) to enjoy the views without the crowds.
Grass Roots Deli Cafe

Grass Roots Deli Cafe

We popped up to Port Campbell to stock up on food to take back to camp and found this little gem. The service is incredible and the cakes are delicious!

Port Cambell Beach

Beautiful safe swimming beach. Great spot to cool off on a hot day, a place to be face to face with the mighty southern ocean on a cold winters day, & a magical location watching the sun go down.

London Bridge

London Bridge is beautiful at sunset! A great place to see the Little Penguins at dusk!
