The guesthouse is a 2 level architect-designed home with spacious living areas, designer kitchens, wood fires, entertaining areas, suites with freestanding bathtubs, panoramic water views from every room and large balconies.

The space is great for couples, business travellers, families, kids and groups.

- If using tanning products please BYO sheets or there will be charges for stained sheets
- Damages to the property will be billed to the guest and reported to Riparide
- Lights and AC/Heating to be turned off when away

We had the most amazing stay at Hide & Seek River House. There were so many things to do just at the property. From kayaking on the water, rope swings into the water and a couple of rounds of tennis w...e were truly spoilt for choice. The house itself was stunning and had everything we needed. A real highlight was the beautiful balcony view and the amazing indoor and outdoor baths.
The host was so responsive if ever we needed anything. We can’t wait to come back.

We booked the Hide and Seek River house to celebrate a special birthday with all our friends and it was the most perfect place !! So many activities to do, I don’t remember the last time we all had so... much fun !!!!
The house was super comfortable and clean and Nedra and Tony were great hosts. Being super accomodating and helpful throughout our stay.
Could not recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back !

We have just spent 3 days with our extended family at Hide & Seek River House and could not have asked for a more perfect venue. So much space, endless activities for all the children and adults but ...also quiet spaces to relax. Everything was so well appointed, comfortable and clean. Such beautiful spaces with first class facilities and artwork plus views of the magnificent bush outside. So much attention to detail at every turn.

Nedra and Tony could not do enough for us which made for a very stress free long weekend. Tony was such a friendly and accommodating host who was always available if we needed any help or advice.

I would certainly highly recommend Hide & Seek River House and hope that we can return in the future.

You really don't need to go anywhere else! This retreat has it all and we tried out all the goods! Canoes. Tennis Court by the river. Fishing. Bird watching and bush walking! There's also an outdoor pool table as well as a enclosed play yard for the little kids.

We had some manual drivers amongst us, so we jumped right in to this Morris Minor 1000 vintage car to the island on the property to watch the sunset!

Goulburn Weir Spillway

Stroll along the Goulburn Weir and watch the cascading waterfall flow into the river. The water crashes with incredible force but the sound feels calming at the same time. Keep your eye out for small whirlpools that appear under the walkway. A lovely walk with an even better view with a nearby playground for the kids too!

Situated on the water, the Nagambie Brewery & Distillery is the perfect place to stop for a drink and a meal. The food is incredible (especially the pizza) with colouring provided for the kids. It has such a relaxed atmosphere, you'll want to linger a little longer.

We toured together to some wineries in the local area, starting with Mitchelton - which was delish!

Fishing The Goulburn River

Anglers who fish this river expect to catch brown and rainbow trout, redfin and carp. Trout are the primary target species. Anyone contemplating a visit should note that river levels may rise and fall dramatically during summer when irrigation farming is underway. When this happens you need to look at where you can fish safely, even if that means sitting on the bank.

The Brewers Table

We scored a quality coffee and some breaky from The Brewer’s Table in Seymour. We then got lucky with a weekend market pop-up across the road, where the grazing continued with gozlemes, donuts and a cheeky pint of beer while local musicians kept the vibes up.
