Hide and Seek Glamping Huts are unique, custom-designed tiny houses made on-site at Hide and Seek Retreat. Designed to take you back to nature without sacrificing life's little luxuries, they have a private ensuite, mini fridge, heating/cooling and a tv. The huts are eco-friendly and feature openable side walls and a clear panel of roofing for star gazing from your king size bed.

They are located in an area beside the river, featuring its own little beach and swimming hole surrounded by water lilies. The location is surrounded by wide areas of grassy and treed outlooks.

There’s a webber bbq and small bench located on the porch of each Glamping Hut which also has 2 outdoor chairs and a side table.

There is no lounge or kitchen area within the hut however we do have seating on the porch, sun lounges in the private garden directly in front of the hut and areas for seating, canoes and daybeds for use along the riverfront. There is also an outdoor fire for use (pending fire restrictions).

Our stay at Hide & Seek Glamping Hut – One was honestly one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in Melbourne. It was such a fun and special getaway for our small family of two. From the moment... we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and connected to nature. The hut itself was beautifully set up — cozy, private, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a peaceful escape.

One of the highlights of our stay was simply enjoying the calm surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh country air was incredibly refreshing. We spent our evenings watching the sunset paint the sky with beautiful colours, which created the perfect romantic and peaceful atmosphere. It truly felt like a hidden paradise away from the busy city life.

Tony was absolutely amazing — so welcoming, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay. He made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to make our experience special. His hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to the whole trip.

We loved exploring the nearby walking tracks and taking in the natural beauty around us. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing picnic, short hikes, or simply unwinding and reconnecting with your loved one.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best places we have ever visited in Melbourne. We are already planning to return in early winter to experience the cozy atmosphere in a different season. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic, and unique getaway!

If there was an option to give this a 10 stars, we would. Couldn't rate it more highly, and truly a serene and beautiful spot to disconnect from 'busy' and reconnect to nature.
Everything was extreme...ly well done, clean, even the shower was excellent. Huge thanks to Nedra and Tony. We'll absolutely be back.

This was a beautiful experience - the hosts were so lovely and accomodating, the space was gorgeous, and the view was spectacular. We loved it.

Our 4 acre vineyard is one of the most boutique in Australia. With just 2 acres each of chardonnay and shiraz vines, we keep things handcrafted and welcome having a chat and wine tasting!

Guests are welcome to use our outdoor equipment free of charge. We supply life jackets and paddles for the canoes, kayaks and paddleboard. There is also a picnic blanket in each hut alongside the yoga mats and there are daybeds, sunlounges and an outdoor fire for use.

Fishing The Goulburn River

Anglers who fish this river expect to catch brown and rainbow trout, redfin and carp. Trout are the primary target species. Anyone contemplating a visit should note that river levels may rise and fall dramatically during summer when irrigation farming is underway. When this happens you need to look at where you can fish safely, even if that means sitting on the bank.

We scored a quality coffee and some breaky from The Brewer’s Table in Seymour. We then got lucky with a weekend market pop-up across the road, where the grazing continued with gozlemes, donuts and a cheeky pint of beer while local musicians kept the vibes up.
