NIGHTCAP RIDGE DETAILS
Nightcap Ridge is a private 67 acre property in the Nightcap National Park. This unique oasis provides beautiful lawns, walks, water holes and unspoilt nature. The well appointed cottage delivers the comforts for a perfect getaway.

The property is surrounded by stunning bush walks and wonderful waterfalls and mountain swimming holes. At the cabin you will be surrounded by nature and wildlife, at night sitting by the campfire and enjoying the stars is an absolute treat at Nightcap Ridge.

This beautifully restored heritage cabin was once used by timber workers and now serves as a cozy, off-grid retreat for those seeking quiet, romance, or inspiration. Lush surrounding vegetation make for a private experience, perfect for couples. Features include:

A rustic yet thoughtfully appointed cabin with queen-size bed. (foldaway bed can be made up for a third person.)

Fully equipped kitchenette with gas camp stove, outdoor BBQ and basic cookware

Claw-foot bath with nature views

Covered deck with outdoor dining area

An outdoor firepit area with seating, perfect for stargazing

Indoor gas heater and electric blanket

Please note: The Loggers Cabin is our more rustic experience on-site. The private bathroom and toilet facilities are a couple of metres from the back door, accessed via cement path.

Guests are required to park their cars just short of the cabin - it's a short walk across the lawn to enter the cabin. We provide a cart to bring your luggage inside, and will also happily assist if needed.

We love our time here. It was the perfect get away to really appreciate the quiet time. The cabin was cosy and well equipped for self catering.
The cabin has beautiful views that could be admired from... the fire pit or the deck.
Although the cabin is remote, we felt reassured that Sara was near by if we needed help with anything - primarily the aga!
We would certainly love to return if we had the time

Nightcap Hikes

This beautiful hike down to the base of Minyon Falls is well worth the huffing and puffing on the way back up. If a challenging hike isn't your thing, the view from the top of Minyon Falls (which can be accessed in an easy five minute walk from the car park) is breathtaking in itself!

Minyon Falls

The property is within a few kilometres of Minyon Falls which is an amazing waterfall and swimming hole, great for an afternoon in the sun.

Whian Whian Falls

Located just outside of the town of Dunoon in the Northern Rivers, Whian Whian Falls is a great spot for a picnic and swim. Once you have parked there is a small dirt track along a property fence. If you follow that well-worn path, it will lead you straight to paradise.

Nightcap Ridge National Park

A stay provides guests with a comfortable base for experiencing the surrounding National Park and Conservation Area. The National Park, which is World Heritage listed, and Conservation area are known for their flora and fauna including many rare and endangered species, dominant massifs, cliffs, lush green gullies and waterfalls.
