Located in a beautiful issolated pocket of bushland. Surrounded by nurrishing nature walks and a depth of history.

The Shearing Shack was çlean enough' however some assistance in the future to maint...ain a quality clean and maintenance would be recommended.

We were lucky to have experience in using and lighting a fire in an OLD STOVE OVEN. Little instructions were left and a high level of trust is given to visitors to maintain a fire like this - considering the surrounding bushland and naute of the building.

NO firewood was left addiquate to fit small stove and we needed to forage / cut wood to fit. This didnt bother us yet i could see how it would others.

Overall it was a lovely little retreat - would I recomend to my frineds - yes due to location, but with warning to cleanliness.

I fell in love with Bringalbit when I saw the 1890s lake covered in white waterlilies and wild waterbirds. We came from Beechworth where we had an art and craft gallery - the Buckland Gallery - for many years. My husband and I are both artists, so this was the perfect place to live. My background in art is reflected in the presentation of Bringalbit.
