The space

Valley View Tiny House is a perfect farm staycation for vacationers looking to experience living off-grid with a well-equipped kitchenette, pot-bellied stove, queen-sized bed up in the loft, and a couch on the ground floor. If you plan to cook, the kitchenette has everything to cook your light meals, such as cooking tools, cutlery, and a portable electric cooler fridge.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

If you plan to bring your soap, shampoo, or toothpaste, we ask that you bring biodegradable products to ensure that greywater runoffs flow easily and do not harm the environment. Thank you!

Beautiful little tiny home with the best view. We took our Doggo’s here to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. They loved the wide open spaces and walking around the property. We also organised wi...th the owners to feed the goats, and had an awesome tour of the farm. Learning about the animals and the ins and outs of farm life. We will definitely be booking again!

Sarah was such a lovely and kind host 🥹❤️ we had a chance to feed the little goats in the morning and a tour of the farm.
The tiny house had spectacular views of the valley and a little walking track... at the back. It was cozy, quiet, clean and well maintained. 10/10 one of the best tiny home experiences we’ve had by far… and if you get a chance to do the tour, make sure you buy some cheese! It’s really tasty!

Ride Like The Wind

Unfortunately, due to the storms, many of the nature reserves were closed. Howevere, we still explored, riding from Veronica's property on Cobaw to Lancefield’s local pub (15km later).

Mount Macedon Hotel

Head through winding, tree-covered roads into Macedon to try the wood fired pizzas and wines at Mount Macedon Hotel. We started our lazy long lunch in the warm sun out the front until we discovered even more outdoor dining to the rear under the shade of a magnificent, giant oak tree. The pizzas were fresh, comforting and came out pretty quickly - our favourite was the Prosciutto + Fig with gorgonzolla, rocket and spanish onion.
