SeaTsu Forest Bathing Sanctuary

Your booking does include one curated wood-fired sauna session, but only guests who sign the user contract and receive the briefing may use the sauna.

We will e-mail you the user contract, and the designated time frames available to reserve your 2 hour sauna session, upon request or as soon as you book. Please provide the e-mails and full names of those interested in the use of the sauna upon inquiry. We also request guests to sign a waiver before using the sauna.

The Tipi has a comfortable full-size bed. We provide clean linens and a duvet cover on one down blanket with one extra blanket and two pillows. Please plan to bring an extra blanket or two to ensure a cozy & comfortable night, or request extra ahead of time if needed.

For reservations with more than two people, there is no extra charge for up to four people total. There is a small futon that clicks down into a small bed, as well as a cot, for one, but guests choosing to use these accommodations must bring their own bedding. Additionally, there is space for van or tent camping at no extra charge, if desired.

Your booking comes with a load of kindling and cordwood for use of the woodstove in the Tipi for each evening. Firewood is our only source of heat in the Blyn Woods, so we ask guests to please be efficient with their wood use and do bring plan to bring some of your own firewood if you would like to enjoy an outdoor fire as well (but please no construction materials with nails, paint, glue etc).

There is a lamp and outlet in the tipi that is connected to our off-grid solar system - so it is important for our guests to also be mindful to shut off lights when they are done using them, and definitely refrain from plugging any electronics into the system because our electrical power is very limited, especially in winter.
Absolutely no plugged-in heated electronics allowed (esp. blow dryers, electric heaters, toasters - they will destroy our system!)

We also ask guests to refrain from bringing any candles from home, and to only light candles in areas where we have strategically placed them to ensure safe space away from Tipi canvas (and always remember to blow them out before you go to bed).

Smoking tobacco in the Tipi is not allowed.

Blyn, WA is colonized S’Klallam land. The Sioux-style tipi was NOT traditionally used by the Native Jamestown S’Klallam peoples of this land.

This area is located in a small and very private neighborhood. Like you, our neighbors seek privacy and respect. Please refrain from walking up and down dirt roads and into driveways to check out other homes in the neighborhood.

You are, however, encouraged to walk out towards the quiet paved road you drove in on — out towards State DNR land which leads down to the beautifully designed Rainshadow disc golf course. We have discs you can borrow if you'd like, just ask!

There is parking available for two vehicles.

We will always try to be within close proximity to the site, or at the very least available by phone, to address any needs or concerns.

We will coordinate a time with you to curate your sauna session.

Otherwise, we like to provide plenty of privacy to our guests during their stay. We grant a level of communication in which we welcome our guests establish.

The space is nestled on a 5-acre parcel within a small off-grid community surrounded by state land with close access to biking and walking trails.

We are only a couple miles to the 101, the Olympic Discovery Trail, and a 15-minute drive to downtown Sequim and Olympic National Forest; 35 minutes to Port Townsend, Port Angeles, and Olympic National Park.

The Tipi is located 1.5 miles from Olympic Discovery Bike Trail access, 3 miles to the Bus Stop at the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal Center (Featuring a National Award-winning Library, and Native Art Gallery), and 3.5 miles to the 7 Cedars Casino (Featuring great places to dine; House of Seven Brother's, Napoli's) with lots of close-by weekly entertainment.

Just 5 miles to National Forest land (via Woods Road....but do be prepared to drive on a bumpy dirt road. Note: a map with USFS roads will be helpful).

This is an alternative bnb experience for people wanting to spend more time unplugged in the woods connected to nature. Do be aware that this is an off-grid space. No plugged-in electronics, please bring your own charging source. There is cell phone service.

Serviced dog companions may be allowed under prior approval. There are off-leash dogs in this neighborhood. They are friendly, but please be advised if you would like to bring your own K9 serviced companions, they must be good with other dogs, and owners must have complete control.
