With stunning mountain views, kangaroos grazing at your doorstep and a roaring open log fire, the Redbrick Cottage creates a space to step back from the hectic pace of modern life.

The cottage offers you 60 acres of beautiful native bushland as your own secluded getaway. A place to unwind and reconnect with life’s simple pleasures, exquisite sunrises, glorious sunsets and some well-earned downtime all set at the foot of the Grampians National Park.

Even the century old red bricks in this striking cottage have many stories to tell, and as you relax into your stay you will discover even more tales these lovingly saved and restored building materials can share with you. That’s if you actually move away from the open fire, or aren’t lost in the beautiful views.

The Redbrick Cottage in one of four cottages set on 60 acres so it's a quiet peaceful area, with plenty of space between each cottage to give you total privacy. It's a safe environment for child to roam freely and we have many native animals residing on the property including kangaroos and emus. Plus free range chickens that are very popular with guests.

There is a parking area by the cottage and walking tracks within the property for you to enjoy. There is also a large shared BBQ area for guests. We are 5kms from the centre of Halls Gap.

Fire Wood Policy
We supply one wheelbarrow of wood per day to each cottage.
If you require extra wood during your stay it can be purchased at $15 per wheelbarrow.
We do not operate the fireplaces during the fire season (December, January & February) or on Extreme Fire Days

HALLS GAP
The Cottages are next door to the Halls Gap Zoo and near to Fallen Giants Winery. The Grampians National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty with many walk tracks and waterfalls to visit whilst based here at the cottages. Halls Gap the town has a number of restaurants and shops to service your needs.

We had the best time in the cutest house, excellently equipped, beautiful views, comfortable beds, very welcoming hosts, we can’t wait to visit here again :) Also LOADS of kangaroos and wallabies!

We absolutely loved our stay - 2 nights wasn't long enough. Rustic, comfortable, clean, and toasty warm when cold with the fireplace. Perfect size for the family, and more. The views are breathtaking,... no shortage of animals including the chickens roaming around the Redbrick Cottage, and bush walks (a nice surprise - the property backs onto the Halls Gap Zoo). Plenty of space between all the cottages for privacy but close enough to visit our family staying in the other cottages. Can't wait to go back.

Wildlife Watching

You don't have to look too hard to spot kangaroos, emus, and lots of beautiful birds. You'll be able to see them all around Halls Gap so be extra careful when driving your car. We found a lot of kangaroos and emus chilling on the drive down to Lake Bellfield.
