Had the best stay at our cabin in the Otways! Can’t recommend glenaire cottages enough. The location was perfect right near the beach and close to triplet falls and the trees top walk. The cabin had t...he incredible view, was dog friendly and super secure for your pup to run around freely and we had a giant spa on the deck which just made our stay perfect. Will also had the inside of the cabin was so cosy and comfy and came with all the stuff you needed to cook your own meals. Thank you Bek for having us we will be back for sure.

The cabin was clean and cosy, a fully functional kitchen made preparing iur feasts easy. The spa and view were so wholesome and many hours were spent on the deck listening to and watching the birds. O...ur drives to castle Cove beach, Houpeton and Beauchamp Falls and Forrest were all in wonderful scenery and perfectly outlined in the list of things to do provided by Bek. We will definitely be back.

Hey, Bek here. I'm originally from Melbourne with my husband and 2 young children. During 2020 we decided to pursue our dreams of buying a holiday house in the beautiful Otways. Fast forward to 2022, and we have now moved down here, and spend our time managing our cottages and exploring this stunning part of the world.

Castle Cove Lookout
Just a two-minute drive from the Lake Cottage, Castle Cove Lookout offers sweeping views of the coastline and cliffs below. We were lucky that the sun came out Sunday morning, giving us the perfect moment to stop and take in the view before heading home. It’s an easy, quick stop, but one that’s absolutely worth it for the stunning ocean outlook.
Castle Cove Beach
We went to Castle Cove for both sunrise and a sunset walk. The waves here are great for experienced surfers, as there are strong rips, but the views are just as enjoyable from the lookout.
Looking Over Castle Cove
Easy to access and directly off the Great Ocean Road – a very short walk for a great view!
Walk Along Johanna Beach
Turn off the Great Ocean Road and a five-minute drive through rolling hills and pastures leads to the secluded and beautiful Johanna Beach.
Surfing
Experience some of the best surf in Victoria for advanced riders along the Great Ocean Road. From Bird Rock, the world-renowned Bells Beach, Winki Pop, Centreside or Cathedral Rock. Along the coast there are good surf spots at Johanna, Cumberland River, Wye River, Baldy Rock, Skene's Creek, Sawmills and Kennett River.
Check Out Johanna Beach
A rugged and fairly untouched piece of coastline, Johanna Beach is a spectacular sight. A swell magnet and the ocean rough and unruly on our visit, we opted for a relaxing stroll and play amongst the rock pools.
