Additional Information

This cabin is one of two that we host; both situated at the end of a small community of cabins (5 cabins including these two). The community is surrounded by 1,000+ acres of Elbe Hills State Forest for your exploration and total serenity. There is a State Road that you can walk (or four-wheel) about a mile long and it will take you all the way to a "beach" on the Nisqually River. The other direction takes you towards Ashford, but is a bit more overgrown and longer.

On the property, both cabins share the "meadow space" and tree-fort with the slide. Apart from that, each cabin faces a different direction and offer plenty of privacy even though they are within about 30 yards of each other. It's the best of both worlds whether you rent just one of the cabins and want some privacy, or if you want to rent out both cabins for a larger get together and have separate spaces.

Both cabins have waterfront about half of the year when the Sahara Creek runs (November to June). The rest of the year, the creek bed is dry.

There is one spot available for this cabin, and if you need it, we have over-flow parking across the creek as well. If you need to use the overflow parking, there is a footbridge to come across without taking the road the long way around. The drive-way is shared between the two cabins on-site, but they have separate parking spots which are clearly marked.

Getting around in this area is dependent on a car in most situations, unless of course you are horseback or backpacking. If you like to off-road, there is Elbe Hills ORV Park only a 10-15 min drive away from the cabin.

We are happy to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs if we have the capacity, so please just reach out for details - the sooner we know, the more likely we are able to say yes :)

Be kind, rewind (after enjoying the VHS or cassette tape collections), Check-in: After 4:00 pm, Checkout: 11:00 am, Self check-in with keypad, No smoking, No pets, No parties or events without prior approval from the host.

My family and I love the great outdoors and more specifically, we are in love with everything Pacific Northwest. We purchased the Tahoma and Paradise Park House cabins as an easy, mountain getaway from our home in Auburn, WA. We have curated home essentials that we are happy to offer our guests as well as use personally. We hope you enjoy your stay with us! I am available by phone and text during your stay, but will not be on-site
