Grasslands Estate is a beautifully appointed country home located on 4 tranquil acres, just 5 kilometres from the town of Torquay and within 10 minutes of the stunning beaches along the Surf Coast. Enjoy a relaxing experience as you take in the breathtaking country views from the veranda or unwind by the pool with a refreshing cocktail. You'll also meet Bob and Beatrix, the resident pygmy goats, who are always excited to greet new visitors.
The pavilion-style residence has an incredibly warm & relaxing feel. Featuring beautiful living spaces both indoors and out, one of my favourite places is the swing chair where one can savour a glass of wine and breathe in the night air. Taking in a long bath & soaking up the views of the property through the floor-to-ceiling windows, is also a must.

Kate will be back on site for the winter months living in other accommodations on the property. You won't see or hear from here other than sharing the driveway.

Beautifully sited amongst expansive lawns and native trees, and overlooking a seasonal waterway, Grasslands Estate features a huge deck which flows out to a large, sparkling pool. The property is zoned for relaxed living – there are 4 large bedrooms, including master with ensuite and a bunk room, multiple living areas including lounge room, expansive family room and dining area overlooking the tranquil, rural, vista. The gourmet stone kitchen features a walk-in pantry, and the house also features a 2nd bathroom, reverse heating/cooling and a fully equipped laundry room.

Featuring a gas bbq, outdoor dining area and a relaxing outdoor lounge area, the expansive deck also features a fire pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Please not there is a camera at the gate for security and can only see your car come and go not the house.

This is a beautiful venue with huge spaces. The pool is lovely and the nearby goat fields and birdlife add to the natural beauty.
All beds except in the main are paired single beds that guests need to... move together or there is one bunk bed with a double on bottom and single on top. Kate was a wonderful communicator and is very organised.

Grasslands Estate is beautiful! Definitely spacious enough to account for all 10 of us and well equipped with furniture and kitchenware. Beautiful scenery. We had an overall great stay.

Explore at your own pace and distance to discover inspiring landscapes on foot or bike taking in the spectacular views of the beautiful Great Ocean Road. The walk connects you with the coastal towns of Torquay, Anglesea and Aireys Inlet making it ideal for a pitstop for a coffee or lazy brunch before the walk back.

We decided before the trip home that we would stop in at Torquay and check out the outlets - however, we ended up finding something even better, stumbling across Garage Torquay Vintage Market!

Experience some of the best surf in Victoria for advanced riders along the Great Ocean Road. From Bird Rock, the world-renowned Bells Beach, Winki Pop, Centreside or Cathedral Rock. Along the coast there are good surf spots at Johanna, Cumberland River, Wye River, Baldy Rock, Skene's Creek, Sawmills and Kennett River.
