Situated midway on the Great Ocean Road and located in the Otway National Park, our cottages are central to all the sights of this magnificent stretch of coast and the magic of the rainforest and waterfalls of the Otway National Park.
Each of our two bedroom cottages can cater up to a maximum of 5 people. Queen size master bedroom and second bedroom with single bed and upper and lower single bunk bed. Fully equipped with all the comforts, wood fire, ocean and farm views, reverse cycle air conditioning, they are ideal for families & / or friends seeking a private, comfortable place from which to explore this wonderful region.
Larger groups - up to 14 people - can be catered to by booking multiple cottages.
Guests are welcome to explore the 280-acre farm, meet the friendly farm animals, pick fruit and herbs from the orchard and fresh salad and berries (seasonal) from the guests produce garden. Collect eggs from the chickens or explore fern gullies and bushwalk along the river. Torchlight walks under big starry skies to view the glow worms in the fern gully. OR simply relax by the warmth of the wood fire - taking in the farm and ocean views from the comfort of your fully self contained cottage.
If guests like, we can meet and do a farm tour, sharing local touring information, etc. Farm tours are by appointment and we observe social distancing recommendations.
Extra information and a map on exploring the farm, how and when to meet and feed the friendly farm animals, information on the guests share garden, orchard and fern gully walk is supplied to guests.
We live on-site, so are on hand if you need assistance. We have installed satellite internet - so there is WiFi (low bandwidth) - if you need to - contact us and we will respond asap. Note: mobile phone reception is sketchy in the region and on the farm.
Central to a range of attractions within an easy scenic drive. The Otway Fly Tree Top walk, waterfalls and fern gullies of the cool temperate rain forest, and the glow-worms at Melba Gully are a great night time attraction. Johanna beach is just down the road (4kms).
Pets are very welcome too - by prior arrangement - Conditions apply and owners should understand and agree with conditions before making a booking - or contact us to discuss. We provide inside bedding, doggy towels, feed bowls, information on local pet friendly places to visit, and the cottage has a yard. We ask that 1. pets are supervised at all times during your stay and never left on the property or in the cottage unsupervised. 2. Please do not allow pets in the bedroom (carpeted area). 3. Keep the lead on when exploring the farm - but ask us about 'off lead' areas for well behaved canines (the river walk & fern gully). 4. Owners should clean up after their pets both in the cottage and the yard.

280 acre working sheep farm & home to Charlie Brown the sheep dog, Mr Magoo, Petal & Blossom & all our other pet sheep; Hobbit, Rudi & Monkey the goats, Berba the Alpaca, Pickles the donkey, Holly & Chilli the ponies, Robert the rooster & his hens. Guests are welcome to explore the farm. Bring a torch as a night time walk under big starry skys can be fun & you can visit the glow worms in the fern gully. Meet & feed our friendly farm animals, collect eggs from the chook house, fresh herbs from the guests garden & fruit from the old orchard.

We have 4 cottages on our property - So if you have a larger group, extra people can be accommodated in other cottages (poa).
Minimum 3 night stays for public holiday weekends (Aust Day/Labour Day/Queens BDay/AFL grandfinal weekend) apply. A four night minimum stay applies to Easter public holiday period. A 7 night stay applies over the Christmas and New Year period. However, it's worth an enquiry as gaps often appear between bookings.

Central to all the highlights of the Great Ocean Road & the Great Otway National Park. Johanna Beach, a step on & step off point for the Great Ocean Walk, is just 4 kms down the road.

Please restrict your pet to the living area or laundry and not allow them on the furniture or on carpeted areas of the cottage (the bedrooms).
Pickup and dispose of all droppings in the yard and garden/lawn area around the cottages (don’t bother in the paddocks!).
The yard (& cottage) is not suitable to leave pets in unattended at any time. We do not guarantee the security of the yard.
There are “OFF LEAD” areas for responsible owners with well behaved & obedient canine visitors. Ask us for details first.

Farm Tour And Explore The Surroundings
Venture around the farm and explore. The walk down to the pond is nice and easy or there is a long walk down to the river. Pick some snow peas and strawberries from the veggie garden. Helen took us on a tour of the farm and we fed Pickles the donkey, Holly and Chilli the ponies and the alpacas. She showed us where to collect our own eggs and pick fresh plums. The animals are friendly and great fun for the kids.
