Additional Information
The feeling is pretty magical when you enter Bells Beach Barn. The downstairs level has a kitchen with a microwave oven, bar fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine, all concealed behind rustic kitchen cupboard doors. Also downstairs is a dining table and chairs, along with a cosy lounge area, TV, and a comfy couch.
Continuing up the stairs is the Master Bedroom with a queen size bed, plenty of storage and hanging space and a split system with heating and air-conditioning. The vistas through the upstairs windows are picture perfect!
The second bedroom offers bunk beds.
Heading into the ensuite with it's angled ceiling and copper pipe rain shower, it all just ties in beautifully with the farm style charm.
Back downstairs and heading outside onto the beautifully tiled patio area brings many highlights, the outside shower for after the beach, a really cute woodfired coonara, BBQ, dining setting and a large nature outlook where you might see Wallabies, Echidnas, Kangaroos and most definitely the resident chickens (chickens can be kept in their cage for any guest that feels uncomfortable with them).
A very unique offering at Bells Beach Haven is the outdoor bath and the generous sized traditional sauna (this is only for guests, it is not shared). What an experience, in the middle of the bush during anytime of year....just imagine spending time between the outdoor bath and the sauna where you simply ladle water over the hot rocks and relax in the warmth.
Bells Beach Haven is a stand alone building, there is also the 'main house' which is occupied by a lovely, friendly family. You may hear kids playing or the occasional car coming and going. You may also see them as you come and go. This property is a farm and the chicken coupe is located along side the outdoor area of the Barn, the owner will let the chickens out in the morning and pop them back in at the evening. You will have full privacy.
No Cats Allowed.
Bringing your dog? There are a few guidelines we need to advise you of....
- Dog's are not allowed upstairs, so you will need to ensure you pup is happy to stay downstairs or bring a crate.
- Dogs are not to be left unattended in The Haven unless they are in a crate.
- We kindly ask you clean up the yard of your dogs business!
- There is no fenced in area, so you will need to keep your dog on a leash, or if you're confident your dog doesn't run off then that's fine.
- There is no gate at the front, so your dog would be able to get out onto the road
- There is wildlife, birds, chickens, ducks and kangaroos, we ask that your dog doesn't chase or bark at the wildlife. (the odd bark is fine!!)
- There is a chance your dog will meet the resident Kelpie, so it is important that your dog is happy with other dogs.
- We also ask you bring an old towel so you can dry off wet paws before coming inside.
- There is an additional $50 pet cleaning fee.

We had the most amazing time at Bells beach haven, Mike was very welcoming and a great host, couldn’t recommend the place any more. From nature to animals and a friendly on site dog Remi it felt very ...wholesome and relaxing. The place was immaculate on arrival and exactly as described.
Thank you for our stay and we hope to be back soon.

My partner and I spent two nights in this Bells Beach Haven and it was absolutely gorgeous. The place is cosy, beautifully furnished and super relaxing. We were able to bird watch, take an outdoor bat...h and cook a wholesome dinner in the barn - it was a great experience. Remy the dog from the main house was also such a delight! We will definitely try to come back soon. Highly recommend!

What a special experience! This was our anniversary getaway with our dog and we all loved it. The accommodation was perfect having everything you could need for cooking and relaxing and we saw plenty ...of birds and wildlife which was amazing to just sit and watch everyday. We enjoyed snoozing in the hammock, sitting by the fire pit looking at the stars and of course the private sauna was a highlight! Will definitely keep this in mind for future bookings.

Electric Storm Into Torquay
We were lucky enough to have access to two superstar electric mountain bikes which made easy work of the hilly terrain around Bellbrae. We took the bikes down to Bells Beach then into Torquay along the Surf Coast Walk, – a very easy path that took around half an hour. Mike did let us know that there are plentiful trails in the bush around the property, which we will definitely be trying next time.

Surfing At Winki Pop
Froth levels were high after a wave starved few weeks, so after a morning coffee, our first stop was Winki Pop, located alongside the famed Bells Beach, for some fun small waves.
Paragliding At Bells Beach
The waves had slacked off a bit in the afternoon but there was still plenty of excitement at Bells Beach where paragliding lessons and tandem flights over the beach were in full swing.
Bells Beach
One of Australia’s most famous surf beaches, the coastline is exposed to intense surf from the Southern Ocean, shaping this rugged coastline. If you're a sightseer like ourselves, Bells Beach is a popular spot with high vantage points along the cliff. Try not to get blown away in the process.
Surfing At Bells Beach
We partner with very well respected & fully qualified local Surf Coast instructors to get you sorted on your surfing adventure. Choose from 2hrs, half day to full day - Bells is within 6kms of Jareseben. Boards & wetsuits can be provided.
Surf Coast Walk
Offering stunning natural beauty the walk stretches 44km along the coast. Explore at your own pace and distance to discover inspiring landscapes on foot or bike taking in the spectacular views of the beautiful Great Ocean Road. The walk connects you with the coastal towns of Torquay, Anglesea and Aireys Inlet making it ideal for a pitstop for a coffee or lazy brunch before the walk back.

Bellbrae Estate Winery
This region has so many incredible wineries to offer! Visit Bellbrae Estate on a Sunday for live blues music and start with a generous wine tasting. We opted for the Rosé.
