We stayed here on a climbing trip and had a wonderful time connecting with our friends here. It's a fantastic house in an awesome location. It was easy to go to and from the Halls Gap shops, but still... peaceful and quiet - plenty of wildlife right in the backyard. We enjoyed looking at the kangaroos and wallabies while we had breakfast. We had plenty of space to settle into large meals, playing pool and board games. Lisa was a great host with open and quick communication.

Amazing Brekkie At Flame Brothers Smokehouse

After our sunrise hike, we drove to Halls Gap and had a delicious breakfast here. The space is amazing as is the food and service. I highly recommend the Brisket benedict!

Hiked To The Pinnacle Lookout

Starting at the Wonderland Carpark, we hiked for 45 minutes (2.1km each way) to the Pinnacle lookout. It was a foggy day so visibility was low but it was surreal feeling like we were stuck inside a cloud.

Boroka Lookout

The 5am alarm went off and we quickly got dressed and started driving towards another famous viewing spot, the Boroka lookout. It was still dark when we arrived but it didn’t take long for the sky to put up a show. We shared the sunrise view with only a handful of people, taking photos and running on the spot to keep warm.

Sunrise At The Balconies

Wake up nice and early and make your way to the Grampians for an epic sunrise at The Balconies. It's just a ten-minute walk from the road so bring your torch and do the walk in the dark to see first light over the hills. Coffee or hot choccy is a must, and a blanket if it's a chilly morning!

Sunrise is perfect in summer because you can beat the heat and be at one of the nearby waterfalls or pools before it heats but too much.
