Designed by award winning architect Simone Koch, the cabin is about cooking, eating, drinking wine while being able to open right up to the beautiful Australian bush... The toilet is an outdoor organic system (based on the national park's toilets).

Located at the start of the Great Ocean Road, only ten minutes from Torquay or famous Bells Beach, you will feel like home especially with a glass of Wolseley Wines in your hand. Enjoy a complementary bottle of pinot from the winery on arrival.
Please provide your own fire wood.

The three cabins Murlali, Carinya, Amarroo are located in secluded bush at the Wolseley Vineyard and Winery. It is 100% organic vineyard and is 100% off grid using only solar power. Wines that we make here are pinot, cabernet, shiraz, cabernet franc, chardonnay, riesling, botrytis semillon.

This was a disappointing stay for us. The idea is lovely, the wine was also lovely!… but the cabin was SO dirty. I want to give the host the benefit of the doubt and say maybe the cleaner didn’t turn ...up, but there was loose dirt and dog hair on the sofa and bed (so the duvet hadn’t been washed and there was no top sheet). The pillows felt damp. There was only one towel (for three people) shoved in a cupboard. Used bars of soap and a used loofah in the shower. No hand towel and only one tea towel. We had to provide our own firewood when there was no other form of heating available. The fridge froze all our fresh food too. We were down for a rustic weekend away but this wasn’t rustic, it was dirty. I think it would be nice in summer if we know to bring a ton of basic stuff to make it useable.
