The Summer Camp Cabin was so cute and cozy. We loved how secluded it was, but it was so easy to get to. It had everything we needed. There are so many trails to go hiking, or just drive around and go ...sightseeing. We found this amazing restaurant that had such good food. Mill Haus Cider Co. It's a family friendly place with fireplaces, indoor and outdoor seating and so many different games to play. When we went, they had live music playing. We spent the whole evening there. The next day we spent the day up on Mt Rainier. We drove up the mountain right when it started to snow. We went on the skyline loop hike, but we only did a couple miles because of how much it started to snow. We are already planning on booking this cabin for spring for a family getaway. We loved it there!

There are three sleds, two pairs of snowshoes with poles, two pairs of cross country skis with poles (sized Women's 8 and Men's 10.5), frisbees, and two sets of corn hole boards located in the shed for your use. Please return them to where you found them when finished so other guests can use them as well.

They have unique sculptures all over the acreage. Great place to walk around and look at some amazing art.

Sightseeing At The Nisqually River

This river is fed by the Nisqually Glacier on the southern side of Mt. Rainier, converted to hydroelectricity by the Alder Dam and empties out in the Puget Sound. The foggy tree line surrounding the river creates a beautiful backdrop!

Copper Creek Inn

After our adventures on the mountain, we decided to stop for a quick bite at the Copper Creek Inn. We had lunch and a small desert, I highly recommend getting the blackberry pie. It's the best in town!

Mill Haus Cider Co

Great cozy place with fireplaces and games to play. They have amazing food and delicious drinks.

One of the coolest restaurants I have ever been to. The atmosphere, the food and the cider was all amazing. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit for a table, but don't let that deter you because it is 100% worth the wait.

Rampart Ridge Trail

If you're looking to hike among towering evergreens I would highly recommend this loop trail accessed from Longmire. I feel this area is often overlooked as many people head straight to Paradise. It is a moderate 5-mile loop trail with views of Mount Rainier and Longmire.

This is a great trail to snowshoe when the road to Paradise is closed or if you would like a less snowy early season hike. You'll often run into some very friendly and sometimes curious wildlife so just keep an eye out if you stop for a snack and remember to not feed the wildlife.
