I love all that travel offers -glimpses into other cultures and lifestyles, adventure, and quality time with family just to name a few! As a young man, I relished the ability to spontaneously travel to new destinations. Now, I get a chance to revisit many of my favorite destinations and see them through the eyes of my children. My personal love for travel has inspired me to create these moments for others. I have recently developed several listings and have enjoyed hosting them.

Sightseeing At The Nisqually River
This river is fed by the Nisqually Glacier on the southern side of Mt. Rainier, converted to hydroelectricity by the Alder Dam and empties out in the Puget Sound. The foggy tree line surrounding the river creates a beautiful backdrop!
Ukrainian Cuisine
We stopped for a feed and some coffee at the amazing Ukrainian Cuisine Restaurant.
Hiking Nicholson Horse Trail
It's a short hike that can extend into a much longer one. There are campsites along the front and it takes you over a bridge to nothing but greenery.
Explore Longmire Within Mount Rainier
Longmire is a historic district and has visitor services within Mount Rainier NP. There is a cool wooden bridge across the mighty Nisqually River, with a good view of the snowy Cascades. There is also the National Park Inn, Longmire Museum, Wilderness Information Center, and trailheads. Rampart Ridge, a popular trail in summer and fall, leaves from Longmire.
Narada Falls
As you drive up Paradise Road, you'll see a lot to the side with a sign directing you to Narada Falls. The hike is only about five minutes, but you get a really neat view of the falls from the ridge. Be sure to add this quick, easy stop on your way down from the mountain!
Film Photography At Mount Rainier
Take a snowy late spring hike around Paradise, Mount Rainier's south slope. Take photos of the picturesque Paradise Inn, surrounded by stunning views of the Cascade's Tatoosh range, and the summit of Mount Rainier.
