Heaven's Rest B&B is less than a 45-minute trip from Auckland’s CBD – the perfect getaway spot on the city's outskirts. While it’s just a short distance from the motorway, the surroundings are so scenic and peaceful that you’ll feel like you’re in a remote location in no time.
After arriving, we were greeted by our friendly hosts as well as the local farm animals. We settled in with a couple of drinks, cranked up the barbecue to cook dinner and enjoyed the sunset. The next day, we decided to head out for an adventure and make the most of our time away from the busy city – there was no shortage of things to do! We decided to head out on a drive through Kaiaua, stopping for a bite to eat at the famous Pink Shop before continuing up the coastline on the Firth of Thames. We spent some time exploring nature before heading back to the cosy accommodation.
Heaven’s Rest has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay – coffee, fresh milk, eggs and an assortment of breakfast cereals, as well as a heat pump and internet access. We had a great time!
