Cozy Hillside Cabin in Packwood

Cedar & Pine A-Frame is in a great location – not too secluded, but with plenty of space separating it from nearby properties. Packwood is less than three hours from Seattle and is a great lodging location for trips to Mt Rainier National Park, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and Mt Saint Helens. The A-frame is also a short drive from downtown Packwood, a small town with a few great offerings for food and drink! I loved the tacos (and the vibe) at Packwood Brewing Co. and the pad thai from local food truck Zest Sri Thai.

There are plenty of beautiful creeks and parks to explore nearby, but most of my time here was spent curled up on the couch, drinking tea and watching movies. My other favorite pastime at Cedar & Pine was sitting on the porch in the sunshine, drinking coffee from the nearby bakery, Mountain Goat, and feeling so high in the trees as if I were in a treehouse.

Ashley, the host, has thought of all the details like bags of popcorn by the TV, a stash of firewood, children's books in the loft, and plenty of instructions and communication. It was such a peaceful place to get away, and just relax!

Great vibes, music, tacos and drinks at Packwood Brewing Co. There's not much else in the small town of Packwood, but this is certainly a must-stop spot!...
