Luxury Hideout in Macedon Ranges

Tucked away down a country road, amidst Victories best-known wine region, you'll find Goldie Views. The luxurious open-plan property looks out onto the most spectacular mountainous views and offers everything you need to properly relax and switch off. The lovely hosts supply a breakfast hamper full of goodies, including bread, muesli and fresh eggs from their chickens.
The house is a short drive to the historic town of Lancefield, (where we had possibly the best pie of our life) and an abundance of absolutely stunning wineries. We spent our time sitting by the fire, enjoying local wines picked up that day and exploring the 70 acres on which the house is situated.

Tucked behind the property, about a 20 minute walk up hill and across their friendly neighbours field, you reach the most spectacular view of the area. It was breathtaking.
We headed into the quaint main street to explore the bakery (incredible pie!) and many shops
There's an abundance of incredibly beautiful wineries in the area. We loved driving through the mountains and doing a few wine tastings, Lyons and Wills were one of our favourites.
Mount Monument was designed by the same architect responsible for Mona and it absolutely looks like it. We walked through the incredible building and sculpture garden.
