After a day of travel, we arrived at One8nine in the late afternoon, with enough time to catch the most amazing sunset over the fields and say hello to the friendly cows and chooks.

As the name suggests, the place is truly a romantic, peaceful and luxurious couples retreat. Its perfectly designed interiors and overall aesthetics brought the best of a luxe country house vibe, but was also paired perfectly with cosy touches for those colder days. A highlight was enjoying a glass of wine wine and a cheese board by the indoor fire!

Our hosts, Nat and John, gifted us with a breakfast hamper of bacon and eggs from the farms chooks. And we were able to pick fresh greens from the vegetable garden. The house itself has all the amenities you need. You can expect a fully functional kitchen, espresso machine, wood fire, an extremely comfortable king-size bed, a large bathtub and, best of all, an outdoor shower to watch the starry nights!

This place was perfect for us to find peace, rejuvenation and serenity in between our adventures.
