Tortoise-Mode in the Treehouse
Adventure in Hepburn Springs, Macedon Ranges, VIC, AU
Hepburn Springs. It’s synonymous with luxurious bathhouses, relaxing spa days, beautiful restaurants and stunning galleries. But treehouses? Not so much. However, the Hepburn Treehouse still found a way to deliver the opulence consistent with the area, while offering something quirky, unique and quintessentially ‘Riparide’.
A private retreat surrounded by lush greenery, this mid-century modern-inspired haven had us shift the throttle to tortoise mode over the weekend; living life in the slow lane as we enjoyed all that the Hepburn Treehouse had to offer. From the eclectic book collection gathered from around the world to the relaxing spa, the cosy wood fire and soaring ceilings with expansive windows that gave way to the most picturesque view, we were hard-pressed to find a reason to leave the amazing A-frame cabin to explore Hepburn’s offering.
When we did manage to peel ourselves away, we hiked, we ate, we drank and we bathed and we loved every moment of it. Only 1.5 hours away from Melbourne, making the Hepburn Treehouse the ideal escape that promises to take a two-day weekend and turn it into a truly restful and relaxing retreat, that had us feeling calm and content heading back to Melbourne to get stuck into the new week....
