Family Friendly Beach House

We loved our stay at this light and airy home that's just a block from the ocean! This charming Lincoln City beach house was very comfortable, we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches. They do allow dogs at this property if you want to bring your pups!
We stopped at the Devils Lake playground along the way to let my little nephew get his wiggles out. This playground is really unique and made entirely of wood with views of the lake and is just 15-minutes from the house!
On our first night, we walked down to the beach to watch the sunset then came back for a cozy fire and as a family, made some popcorn and watched one of the children's DVDs they so thoughtfully offer.
The following day, we sipped our coffee on the front deck while my sister fed the ravens who live nearby. We were delighted to discover that just down the street is a garden conservatory, so we took a walk and explored the fall blooms. Later that afternoon, we headed over to Dory's Cove restaurant for their famous clam chowder. It was delicious!
It was such a treat to get away for a couple of days and to have an opportunity to be with family at the coast. It was a wonderful combination of fun, exploration and relaxation!...
