Branch Out and Stay at The Treehouse
Adventure in Ocean Grove, Great Ocean Road, VIC, AU
The Treehouse Ocean Grove is the double dose of nature we all need in a new world full of screens. Surrounded by big beautiful trees full of life & 5-minutes away from crystal clear beaches, this bright & earthy decorated home is the perfect reset location.
It’s very tempting to head straight down to the beach as soon as you arrive when you know how close it is & the sun is starting to set. But WAIT… I strongly advise you to enjoy your first sunset on the beautiful open decking with a glass of wine in hand, views of the water & magical fairy lights draped above you, plus you can have the open fire roaring inside! So by the time the sun sets & the sea breeze kicks in, you can snuggle up on the couch with your choice of book & then REALLY unwind in a flower bomb spa bath.
Set the alarm for 5.30 am! You should be well rested after last nights relaxing activities & be up and about for a sunrise walk to The Point Lonsdale Lighthouse. You’ll work up an appetite so on your way back to the house you’ll pass The Garage Cafe for a hot coffee & breakfast menu that is impossible to choose from. Then back to the house to freshen up, chuck on the record player & doll yourself up for a boujee lunch At The Heads in Barwon Heads.
The afternoon is your oyster after that! There are so many incredible beaches along this coastline so just beach hop along them all, watching the surfers & NOW you can enjoy your beach sunset. I enjoyed my beach hop so much that I just HAD to sneak one more sunrise in down at The Dunes. Takeaway coffee is available right before the sun pops up.
Whether it's a girls weekend or a big family holiday, stay somewhere not so mains-TREE-m.

Trust me... this will make setting the alarm when you're on holiday worth it! Go for a long walk along the beach & pier as you watch the magical colours change in the sky.
If you’re looking for that ‘gram-worthy’ cafe... this is it! Good coffee, delicious food & dog-friendly seats outside.
At The Heads is a MUST-do while you’re in the area. It’s built on a pier right on the water and I swear it makes the wine taste better.
Start from Torquay Front Beach and make your way along the coastline. Pack a picnic, watch the surfers & enjoy the sunset right on the horizon at your final stop.
No excuse for those people that can’t start their day without coffee. The Dunes opens for takeaway at 6.30 am so you can sip away & start your day with another beautiful sunrise.
