The Perfect Off-Grid Ranch
Adventure in Alice, North Coast, NSW, AU
Thanks Nikon Australia for supporting this story.
I recently had the opportunity to test out Nikon's new Z9 camera during a short-term luxury off-grid homestay in northwest NSW. It was the perfect setting to put the camera to the test, as the stunning view of the Clarence River and the nearby sand river beach provided endless photographic opportunities.
My family and friends enjoyed a relaxing summer road trip in the country. The kids had a blast playing and exploring the area, while we were able to fully unplug and disconnect from the outside world for a few days. The well-designed and spacious off-grid house accommodated our group comfortably between the main bedroom, glamping tent, and even a ship container room - we enjoyed everything about it. The pool and outdoor cinema space was pure heaven. Watching movies at twilight, with the fire pit crackling nearby was something we will always remember. The cherry on top was the mini golf stage by the most amazing river view, and the flying fox which made our stay even more fun.
Overall, it was a truly memorable experience and one that we will cherish for years to come. The combination of beautiful location, well-equipped and comfortable home, and the opportunity to use Nikon's new Z9 camera made it the perfect summer getaway. I was extremely impressed with the camera's performance and would highly recommend it to any photographer. I would also like to thank our hosts, The Clarence was by far one of the most relaxing places we experienced so far....

Summer is the perfect time for kids to have fun kayaking in the Clarence River! The warm, clean water provides the backdrop for a day of adventure. Whether they're paddling through calm pools or tackling small rapids, your kids will love the thrill of navigating their kayak in the riverfront accommodation. So why wait? Pack up your kayaks and head to the river for a day of fun in the sun!...
On our way back to the airport we decided to explore the coast to photograph with Nikon's iconic Z9 and the Zfc cameras. We visited the iconic Byron Bay lighthouse in easternmost mainland Australia. The lighthouse offered stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and we captured images of its majestic structure and the south shore producing stunning images in a memorable experience....
