Wanderlust Wheels

All aboard the Mesa Bus! Half an hour east of Byron you'll find this hidden gem nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Byron Hinterlands. This is the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature's wonders and experience life on a tour bus - sleeping in a spacious tour bus with boho amenities.

Our accommodation for the weekend was the charming bus we called Wanderlust Wheels — boasting four cozy bunks and a king bed with epic views. Featuring a kitchen on a spacious patio and a beautifully designed bathroom, one of the highlights is definitely the freestanding bathtub with the most amazing views of the hills. The Mesa Bus has everything you need to escape for the weekend and became our cozy home away from home.

After exploring the adjacent macadamia fields and getting the fire going, we watched the sky turn into a star-studded ceiling above us. The first night had set the bar high.

The next morning we trekked through lush forests to the hidden gem known as Whian Whian rock pools for a refreshing dip. No trip to Byron would be complete without a visit to The Pass - where we enjoyed a few waves. After that it was time to get away from the crowds and venture back to our little oasis in Rosebank.

We enjoyed a scenic drive back to the hill early to enjoy another stunning sunset and barbecue. We gathered around a crackling campfire, enjoying some vinos and reminiscing on the experiences we had in this enchanting part of the world. The Mesa Bus, with its hidden treasures and breathtaking views, proved to be the perfect backdrop for a getaway with friends.

Great stop off on the way to Byron for coffee and food. The Old Shed specialises in organic produce and has beautiful views from the garden (give the goats a pat while you're there!)
