Hacienda On The Hill

Embarking on a sun-soaked quest in Byron's Hinterland, we sought the perfect summer vibes and relaxation at Hacienda on the Hill, a charming retreat just outside Byron Bay.

Our little one, Liz, eagerly anticipating her swimming classes, couldn't wait to dive into the backyard pool. The 'cannonball' jumps became a daily ritual, a testament to the joy that unfolds when Melbournians find themselves in a tropical haven!

Venturing beyond the hacienda's haven, we explored Byron's beaches, basking in the beauty of sunrise and sunset strolls that painted the sky with nature's beauty. We adventured to the neighbouring towns of Bangalow and Newrybar, where antique treasures and local flavours awaited in cozy cafes and restaurants, each moment becoming a cherished chapter in our summer tale.

Hacienda on the Hill is more than a retreat; it's where summer memories are made. For those dreaming of an intimate group escape, this idyllic Byron Hinterland farmhouse awaits you for a summer masterpiece.

Great food spot in this little village. You can spend the day walking and visiting the shops around and a spot here for food is a must-do when visiting the region.

Tallow Beach is the perfect spot for sunrises around Byron, be prepared for an amazing spectacle, but arrive early as in summer the sun rises super early. Also, the parking lot is small, so arriving early will guarantee you a free spot.

Visiting an Australian coffee farm for the first time ever. I confess I didn't know this place even existed before checking things to do around Hacienda on the Hill. It was such a great experience, great coffee and lots of options of 100% Aussie coffee.
