Villa Merlot
Adventure in Mudgee, Country NSW, NSW, AU
Embracing the heart of the Mudgee landscape, my family and I discovered a sanctuary that resonates with the soul of Australian wilderness at Villa Merlot. Nestled in the sprawling expanse of Glenayr Farm, this cabin offered us more than just a stay; it presented a journey into tranquillity, wrapped in the authentic vibes of Australia.
The natural chorus of wildlife greeting the dawn, and the untouched beauty surrounding us, set the stage for an unforgettable escape.
Villa Merlot is a testament to the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Every moment spent here was a brush with nature, yet within the warm embrace of amenities that made our stay effortlessly comfortable.
The highlight was the wood-fired hot tub, offering relaxation on sunny or rainy days, a rare experience that ties you closer to the essence of Mudgee's outdoors.
Lastly, I've to mention the amazing food experiences we have had in Mudgee, from unique cafes to amazing wineries - this area is known for its cuisine and we agree 100% with that. Villa Merlot and Mudgee allowed us to savour every moment amidst nature's masterpiece. We left with hearts full and a promise to return, carrying with us stories of our adventures and the serene whispers of Glenayr Farm's enchanting landscape.

Things We Did
- Café
- Town
- Pub
This unique cafe in the centre of Mudgee is a must-go if you like places with character, great food and yes, the coffee is delicious.
A picturesque country town, known for its culinary, wine and gathering destination. We had such an amazing time just before Christmas, we might come back in autumn/winter :)
We have to make a point, during our month travelling through NSW, we haven't had better food than in Millbrie. It was above the average, 100% recommended!
Great Irish Pub vibes, amazing Guinness draught and food. If you have kids, the place has a great area for them to play so you can enjoy your time there.
