An Immersive Luxury Farm Stay Experience

Nestled among the foothills of the Victorian Alps lies BullerRoo, a luxurious and immersive farm stay experience that you won’t want to leave. Walking up the stairs of this beautiful property, and into the main living space, we were in awe at how spectacular the view of the countryside is. Whether you’re cooking, eating, lounging around, or doing your morning yoga – you have this incredible backdrop of trees, hills, and wildlife that the building is immersed in.

The bathroom is an experience in itself. It’s massive, completely open, and includes a beautiful skylight that casts natural light down into the room. You honestly feel like you are in a luxury retreat in this zen space.

We went for a nice walk down to the river on the base of the property to try and hunt for a glimpse at the elusive platypus that is said to be swimming here. This was such a beautiful walk, with so much wildlife around. From birds to kangaroos, pygmy goats, alpacas, cows, and sheep, you’ll spot plenty by getting amongst nature here. The river is so clear and easy to walk through and makes for a great spot to skip stones. This was a really fulfilling part of our stay as we were able to explore the river and feel connected to the beautiful surroundings.

We also ventured out to Deltatite Winery, which was only a short drive away. This winery boasts a new award-winning elegant design and is a fantastic place to do a wine tasting sitting by the fireplace. They sell a Glühwein pack here (also known as mulled wine) which we couldn’t recommend enough. We enjoyed this back at the property, cooked up all the ingredients, and enjoyed the freshly brewed warm goodness on the rooftop patio and barbecue area. The beanbags are so cozy and comfortable, it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Honcho is an AMAZING modern Mexican x Australian restaurant. The food. The cocktails. The vibe. All on point
