The journey of our stay began moments before we even arrived. The picturesque landscape on the drive-in created an incredible scene for how our stay would feel, only to be greeted by what felt like a jungle oasis. We were introduced to our unique dome home, which felt as though we’d stepped into a peaceful and grounding space that embraced us in all the right ways.

We spent afternoon sunsets in the outdoor bathtubs with hot cacao, followed by an evening fire as we cooked dinner under the stars. We woke to the gentle singing of morning birds and watched as the sun illuminated the dome, calling us to begin our day. The dome and the space surrounding us felt so inviting and grounding that living amongst nature was soothing for our souls. Just steps away from the dome, is the most beautiful natural swimming pool. It's chemical free and has little fish living in there! The sound of flowing water and plants filtrating the pool was such a luxury to wake up too.

Our time was spent between many cups of tea, meditating, rituals, and swimming in the cleansing natural pool. We managed to venture out to check out the sweet town of Clunes, stopping for coffee, a few snacks from the general store, and of course, we couldn't resist a visit to Uncle Pete’s Book Store. We’d been recommended a visit to Whian Whian Falls, which was just a short 20-minute drive away from our stay.

We spent hours exploring the many pools and lazing by the flow of the river, and we were well and truly recharged. Experiencing this unique stay amongst the trees and being completely immersed in nature left us feeling a deep sense of connection with the land and one another. We felt like we were worlds away from being summoned by life’s demands and could completely switch off and live slowly with the flow of each day.
