Charming cottage on the green
Adventure in Kangaroo Valley, Country NSW, NSW, AU
As we arrived at Ralphie’s, a charming cottage nestled on the Kangaroo Valley Golf Course, we immediately felt at ease. The warm afternoon sun bathed the deck, with stunning views stretching across the fairways and into the distant mountains. Wombats and kangaroos roamed freely on the grass below, making us feel truly connected to the natural beauty surrounding us.
We poured drinks and slipped into the spa as the sun dipped behind the mountains, then had a home-cooked dinner, before unwinding by the indoor fireplace. We started each day savoring breakfast on the sunlit deck, before setting off on day trips to marvel at spectacular waterfalls like Belmore and Fitzroy Falls. We also visited the historic township of Kangaroo Valley where we encountered local characters and delicious local fare.
On our last evening, after swinging a few golf clubs and laughing at both good shots and water landings, we strolled across the 9th hole to the Italian restaurant that's part of the golf course, where we were treated to a delicious authentic meal and dining experience. Ralphie’s was the perfect blend of cozy cottage vibes, with nature and a little bit of adventure right at our doorstep. We left feeling recharged and grateful for this unforgettable escape.

This classic Pub, established in 1892, served up a great steak sandwich with chips. We relaxed in the pet-friendly courtyard, enjoyed a cold drink, and met a few local characters.
