We arrived at our tiny house in Musk on Friday evening, instantly feeling the serenity of the place.

After unpacking, we couldn’t resist sinking into the outdoor bath by the fireplace—perfect for unwinding and embracing the peaceful surroundings as the cool evening settled in.

Saturday morning greeted us with soft light over Daylesford Lake. We woke early, coffee in hand, to stroll around the lake as the sun rose.

Later, we set out on the Daylesford to Hepburn off-road walk, discovering spring water taps along the trail—a very welcome find on a hot day.

By the time we reached Daylesford, the walk had worked up an appetite. We cooled off with cold beers and lunch at the Royal Daylesford Hotel.

Dinner at Sault Restaurant that evening was the perfect end to a day of adventure and relaxation. Their menu is made from fresh, local ingredients grown in their gardens and sourced from regional farms, and it was amazing to try the area's finest produce.
