The Banksia accommodation was the perfect base for all of the adventures around Macedon—nestled in nature, it featured a kitchen, ensuite, and beautiful green views, making it a cozy and relaxing escape. During our trip we explored some incredible spots surrounded by nature. We started with a peaceful walk around Sanatorium Lake, enjoying the tranquil forest scenery. Then hiked up Hanging Rock, a unique trek with epic panoramic views. A visit to Hanging Rock Winery was a highlight, where we enjoyed a wine tasting experience with stunning vineyard surroundings. Overall, it was a refreshing getaway filled with nature, adventure, and great wine.
