Nightcap on the Ridge
Adventure in Dorroughby, North Coast, NSW, AU
Driving through the winding roads of the Byron Hinterlands, Nightcap Ridge was the perfect destination to get away from it all and unplug with the family.
Almost every room of the cottage has an incredible view of the expansive grounds. Waking up each morning to the sun-drenched bedroom and sounds of the local fauna was a great change of pace.
We spent most of our stay exploring the bushland and lily ponds on the grounds or nestled up by the fire indoors or out.
Blue Fig is the best place to switch off, reconnect and spend quality time with loved ones.

This bushwalk is right on your doorstep. The rainforest and lily ponds are a haven for some incredibly wildlife and fauna.

Plenty of great cafes/restaurants, unique local stores and gorgeous galleries to explore. Bangalow is a great little town with a lot of hidden little gems.

This Japanese/Aussie fusion cafe was the best place to enjoy a sunny arvo with the kids. The staff are beautiful and the food is AMAZING!

Torakina Beach is located at the river mouth in Brunswick Heads. Great spot for families to swim as it’s protected from the swell. Also great surf near buy at North Wall and perfect little spot to whale watch.

It’s only a short walk to the lookout from the carpark. There is also a loop walk that takes you to the base of the falls where you can take a lovely dip in the freshwater.
