Enjoy the outdoor shower after salty adventures, unwind on the deck at sunset, and savour slow evenings with a BBQ under the stars. A truly magical escape, amazing hosts and our family adored it! We can’t wait to return.

We were picked up in a little farm cadet and taken on an unforgettable tour of Carinya’s working farm. We met the cattle, checked out the vintage equipment and spotted wallabies hiding in the bush while native birds flew overhead. The whole property was alive with wildlife and incredible views stretching across the hinterland to the ocean. Such a beautiful and unique way to experience the land
Shaws Bay is a beautiful, family-friendly tidal bay perfect for taking the kids swimming. With sandy beaches, calm water, snorkelling, picnicking areas and a shared pathway, it’s a great spot for a fun day out. The bay has easy access along Compton Drive, including ramps, parking and seating, plus nearby amenities at Pop Denison Park. A safe, scenic place for everyone to enjoy
Birdwatching at Carinya is truly special. The peaceful retreat sits among trees planted by the family years ago, now grown into a thriving habitat that attracts an incredible variety of native birds. From yellow-tailed black cockatoos and blue-faced honeyeaters to kookaburras and bright lorikeets, the property is alive with colour and birdsong. It’s the perfect place to slow down, wander, and take in the beauty of nature all around you.

The beautiful space includes a soothing sauna, a stunning marble hot stone bed, and both hot and cold tubs that leave you feeling completely refreshed. Their massages are truly world-class, A deeply relaxing and expertly delivered. Every detail is designed to help you unwind and reset.
