Weekend at Wobbly Boot
Adventure in Eungai Rail, North Coast, NSW, AU
The wow factor walking into Wobbly Boot Estate was instant. This architect-designed home, built in the wonderfully quirky shape of a hexagon, greets you with soaring cathedral ceilings, warm natural light, and a sense of character that you feel impressed the moment you step inside.
Each bedroom has it's own distinct vibe, two of them leading out to the verandah with french doors, and ensuites to boot. The upstairs loft room is something to behold - make sure you hunt down the secret bathroom hidden within what looks like an antique wardrobe!
We spent our days lounging by the sun-filled pool, soaking up the stillness, and our evenings doing big cook-ups with our scrumptious meals from The Good Farm Shop. After dinner, we’d keep enjoying the enormous living area for a few games of pool, feeling totally at home in the space. The deep bathtub overlooking the dam was pure magic - the kind of soak that slows your whole nervous system down.
On our second night, we witnessed one of the most spectacular sunsets I’ve ever seen. The sky exploded with colour, and the best place to take it all in was sprawled out on the expansive grassy lawns, letting the last of the daylight linger.
If you’re keen to explore, the charming town of South West Rocks is just a 25-minute drive away. It’s packed with stunning beaches, cute boutique shops, and plenty of great spots for a drink or an afternoon wander.

Great spot, right on the water, and scrumptious espresso martinis
Super cute town with some great shops, and a beautiful walk hugging the coastline. Even the toilet block is picturesque!
Good food, good vibes, definitely worth a stop for lunch!
We wanted to maximise relaxation on our weekend away, so we pre-ordered some absolutely scrumptious meals from The Good Farm Shop. We feasted on lamb moussaka, chicken cacciatore, apple crumble, salsa verde, and eggplant kasundi. It was so effortless to whip up a few simple sides and sit down to dinners that felt next-level.
