Ukiyo - The Floating World
Adventure in Mount Marsden, Country NSW, NSW, AU
Set on 150 acres of rural farmland with uninterrupted, breathtaking views of Mount Marsden, this private escape truly feels worlds away. With no nearby light pollution, the night sky opens up to more stars than we’ve ever seen, making evenings feel incredibly special.
Just a short drive from the town of Rylstone, the stay offers peaceful solitude while still being close to cafes, shops, and local produce. The property also features a gym, sauna, and ice bath, which were a great way to start the day, while afternoons were perfect for slowing down with a book or simply taking in the view.
The stay had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and a super comfortable bed that made it hard to leave. What we loved most was being able to slow down and spend quality time together, especially with our daughter, who adored watching the wallabies each morning and meeting the alpacas and sheep around the property. Mornings felt gentle and joyful, and the countryside had a homely, welcoming feel that made it easy to settle in.
For nature lovers, Wollemi National Park is close by, including Ganguddy–Dunns Swamp - a beautiful spot for cooling down, paddleboarding, or exploring endless walking trails.
