Wander, Unplug, Steam, Repeat

Perched on a hill in Little Hartley, our tiny home felt like a hidden retreat off the beaten track, surrounded by rolling green hills.

Mornings began with coffee and lemon yoghurt cake at Post Mistress Café, savouring the village’s quiet charm. By midday, we were taking in the sweeping views from Hassans Walls Lookout, before heading off-road to Hyde Park Reserve Swimming Hole (4WD needed for this one!), wallabies, rugged bushland and the sound of flowing creek water.

Evenings were pure relaxation in the sauna, golden light spilling through the windows as the hills melted into twilight. We felt present, grounded, and rejuvenated. By the end of our escape, we weren’t just rested—we were renewed, reminded of the joy of slowing down, exploring together, and reconnecting with nature.
