Sunrise Soaks and Wagging Tails
Adventure in Bowman Farm, Hunter Valley, NSW, AU
Our weekend began with the most vibrant sunset as we drove towards Dam It Tiny House. It was the perfect start to a country escape with our little furbaby, and the weekend only got better from there! We woke to a golden sunrise streaming through the huge window looking across rolling hills and paddocks dotted with cows. We wasted no time running the bathtubs and soaking in the bubbles and listening to the birdsong.
Feeling thoroughly relaxed, we headed into Gloucester to explore. We’d heard about the dog-friendly Bucketts Scenic Walk, and Chloe was keen to check it out. We wandered past grazing cows up a steep hill. Turning around to see the panoramic views across the Gloucester Valley made every step worth it!
After our hike, we stopped at Gloucester Creatives NSW, an eclectic gallery, gift shop and cafe for a bite and coffees in the courtyard. Chloe loved getting pats from the friendly staff and made friends with all the guests. The next stop was Kia Ora lookout, with more incredible valley views and plenty of space for Chloe’s zoomies.
Back at the tiny house, we enjoyed an afternoon drink in the sunshine before moving to the fire pit as the evening cooled. We cooked up a tasty barbecue for dinner as the stars came out, and finished the day curled up in bed for a movie night. The perfect weekend escape!
