Peace and Quiet in Metcalfe

We arrived in Metcalfe after dark, where we saw fairy lights guiding us towards the quaint, self contained cottage. For our first night, we enjoyed a lovely outdoor fire, where we ate homemade toasties and gazed at the stars. The next day, we were ready to get moving! We explored the infamous Castlemaine Mill to find some rare vintage treasures, explored the towns local coffee roaster, and then went to the Albian pub for dinner. After a solid sleep in, we woke up first thing to breathe in the fresh air, go for a run, and enjoy some birdwatching at the properties doorstep. We then took a drive to Kyneton, and popped into Stockroom Gallery and had a hearty breakfast to warm us up.
