Adventure in Lorne, Great Ocean Road, VIC, AU
We rounded up a crew of 4 couples and escaped after work on a Friday to Lorne, having a super cruisey drive out we grabbed some cheeky takeway for dinner and arrived to the accom in Lorne around 8.30pm. We were all due for a relaxing weekend after a stressful few weeks of inner city work life hustle mixed with every time we usually hang out and adventure we end up 4wding / camping, it's usually a full on tiring weekend. So the plan for this weekend was to lounge around, drink some drinks, eat some food and explore the area at a leisurely pace, or not. No plan was the plan.
The accommodation comfortably slept 4 couples, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed to cook , chill and stay warm. We hit up the high ropes in Lorne which was super fun, ate pizza on the beach, had cheese & wine on the balcony in the sun looking out over the ocean, explored the Otways and drove the Great Ocean Road. All in all we did a heap but never felt rushed or exhausted, we left relaxed and ready to tackle the week ahead....
