A Nuts Weekend

Located on beautiful property 5 minutes out of Urunga. This bungalow is in a prime location, offering a variety of nature and activities to do. It is a macadamia farm right next to the beach, and there is so much to do within an hour's radius of it we couldn't possibly do it all over the weekend.

We decided to hustle Waterfall Way, which offers more than just waterfalls! 15-20 minutes from the bungalow is the small, vibrant town, Bellingen. We stopped here to browse the shops and grab a bite to eat. We ate lunch at 'The Purple Carrot' which offered a vast range of options to choose from and we unanimously decided on the Halloumi burger - it's a winner.

We continued down Waterfall Way into Dorrigo National Park to visit Dangar Falls, which is only another 25 minutes down the road. This is by far one of my favourites falls NSW has to offer - a real treat to either dip your toes or fully frolic under the falls - the best news is that you can stand behind the falls!

Lastly, on the way back, we stopped in behind Bellingen to the Promise Lands to visit the lush river and soak in some more of the natural beauty this place has to offer.

The morning of departure, we walked around the side of the property to pick some macadamias to take home.

Whether you want to adventure for waterfalls or stay on the farm to read a novel or even relax down by the beach, this cosy little bungalow offers it all.

Just behind the accommodation is their macadamia plantation. Don't be shy! The good macadamias are usually at the base of the tree. Grab your tote bag and treat yourself.
