Sunlit Sanctuary

Located at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range of Victoria, we headed towards Daylesford with rest and rejuvenation on our minds.

Stopping off at Trentham falls along the way, our bodies and spirits soaked up some nature while the delectable organic sourdough bread we purchased soaked up our olive oil! We were happy and content before arriving at our sunlit sanctuary.

Your spirits lift when you open the grand barn doors, light streams through the fantastic windows; the space is adorned with wonderfully curated art and objects, no detail was spared. A hamper filled with gorgeous homemade and locally produced goods awaited us.
The attention to detail was just incredible, the barn is pure magic, and we found ourselves drawn to the flavour of the layout and thoughtful, quirky interior design.

When we motivated ourselves enough to leave our attractive quarters, we spent some of the weekend unwinding and exploring the many cafes and antique stores within walking distance of the property.

Our afternoons were spent wondering gardens, chasing waterfalls, feeding the ducks near Lake Daylesford and cooling our feet in the creek near Sailor Falls.
