Banksia amongst the Gum Trees
Adventure in Crescent Head, North Coast, NSW, AU
With the gentle sound of waves against the shore and views of kangaroos grazing between the gum trees, the Banksia Cottage in Crescent Heads gave us the solitude in nature we were looking for. Following the signs to the Banksia Cottage, we parked the car in the sheltered car port and opened up the cottage to a warm fireplace and a lovely home for the weekend.
In the mornings we would watch the birds, have our coffee outside on the veranda and enjoy the sounds of nature. The beach and headland walks are only a short drive from the cottage with stunning views and lots and lots to explore.
Beloved childhood memories were brought back, while laughing in the air up high on the swing outside the cabin. Playing Board Games and watching movies from a long time ago, while relaxing next to the fireplace were the best activities during rainy evenings – and the Banksia Cottage offered us it all....
